Department of Drama Tries Something New

In January, drama department faculty and students mounted a workshop production of a new musical version of Little Women, based on Louisa May Alcott?s novel. This is the first time the department has presented a work in progress that aspires to land on regional and even Broadway stages.

As part of the Non-Traditional Modes class taught by Laura Heyman, assistant professor of art photography, students were asked to research the history of artists’ billboards and then divide into three teams, each of which produced its own billboard.
