Department of Drama

Each drama program requires an audition or a design portfolio review in addition to Syracuse University's general requirements. Auditions and design portfolio reviews may be completed in person or by mail. We have also included an admissions checklist (PDF) for your convenience.

All prospective first-year students must meet the following University deadlines to guarantee full consideration for admission and financial aid. Auditions, design portfolio reviews, or interviews may be completed before or after you submit your application but should meet these deadlines.

EARLY DECISION
November 15: Application and audition, design portfolio review, or interview must be completed.

REGULAR DECISION
January 1: Application postmarked deadline.
January 1: Audition or design portfolio review must be postmarked if submitted by mail.
February 1: In-person audition, design portfolio review, or interview must be completed. Financial aid forms are due.
