Music Industry
The bachelor of music (B.M.) music industry program helps the serious music student develop a high level of music competency while learning about the theoretical and practical activities of the industry. The program's uniqueness lies in the music industry coursework designed specifically for the musician.
On a broader scale, you learn to analyze current trends in the music industry and understand their implications. You become familiar with professional music organizations. Above all, you develop the ability to conceptualize solutions to various industry problems and the knowledge to implement those solutions. Students are encouraged to consider a music industry internship.
Graduates of the program are knowledgeable about general business practices as well as the creative and legal workings of the music industry.
