Acceptance into a graduate program in the Setnor School of Music is based on a student's general application to Syracuse University's Graduate School as well as such special program-specific requirements as auditions or interviews. All of these requirements as well as deadlines are detailed in our section on Apply. When these requirements cannot be met, entrance at the undergraduate or graduate level on a non-matriculated basis may lead to later admission into the program.
Deadlines for most programs are January 1 if applying for McNair Graduate Fellowships or University African American Fellowships and March 1 for all other applicants.
If you're an international applicant, you'll find additional information about studying at SU on the Graduate School web site.
For information on costs of attendance as well as merit- and need-based financial aid for all applicants, see Financial Information.
